First of all, I would say that you should start with the previous books. There’s a boxed set of book 1 & 2 on Audible. I say that, because this book picks right up where book 2 leaves off and really doesn’t do any recap of what happened previously. So, coming in as a new reader, you’ll be lost on some of the references. Granted, this is a zombie apocalypse story, so you’re not missing out on TOO much plot or subtext… so go with your gut. Anyway, I loved having Andrew Wehrlen narrating this one. He’s one of my favorites and I was happy he took over on this series.
