We follow five groups of apocalypse survivors as they make their way to Texas and perceived safety. That’s the basis of the story, but the characters are what set this tale apart. Five groups of survivors we come to know fairly well, each from a different part of the country, each unique in their backgrounds, strengths, and weaknesses. We also benefit from five first-rate authors contributing to deliver one exceptional story. I enjoyed the tale and look forward to After the Roads and perhaps For Which We Stand; further accounts in the tale.
