I thought this series was called the selfless hero trilogy, not the birth of an irritating villain saga? Seriously. Regular cowardice, deus ex, missing obvious solutions used earlier in the same chapter, the most bizarre pacing I’ve seen in a while… I like this author, but this book, hell, this SERIES… it’s a serious case of growing pains. Avoid.
