It’s nice to delve a bit more into other characters and prepare us perhaps to focus on some others (more Hailee to come?), and beyond that this book hits on all the high notes of the first. It builds on some hints dropped in the first book, culminates a few thread lines and moves further along the central one. There’s some great quality LitRPG here, and some enjoyable unique focuses as well.
As always, the Soundbooth Theater performances are fantastic! There’s a great melding of high quality writing and top audio talent in this book.
