I rarely write reviews but I’m making an exception for this wonderful series. This 80 hour (yes 80) series listens and reminds me of a comfortable pair of blue jeans. A comfortable and easy listen that ends up being your goto listen for quite awhile. It isn’t a listen that requires a huge amount of attention to follow the story or remember the characters if you listen to it in small chunks like I do for my work commute.
You get to know each character in detail and Mikael’s outstanding performance brings each character to life as they developed, and it easy to know exactly who is talking. Because it’s an compilation, it is really a bunch of short stories that are so strung together in one long adventure of the Mobies crews’ career.
The series is truly like listening to a audio version of a season of Firefly the TV show. If you enjoy that type of science fiction then this is definitely the audio book for you.
