Well written and well performed. I personally would have liked it to be longer with a bit more detail here and there. But the author kept things neat and tidy and I can also appreciate that. The story may seem a bit familiar to some and I admit it isn’t as terribly original as I’d hoped. But, I think it was a better telling IMO. I can’t say which one without giving it all away but you’ll see what I’m saying 🙂
It’s a good story with characters who thankfully just get things done and don’t spend two chapters lamenting their life decisions. They just do what the situation demands and cope later or simply accept the while situation for what it is and adjust as needed. This is a breath of fresh air for me when compared to stories who’s characters bemone their choices or actions to the point they have mental breakdowns.
Give it a try, it’s a solid story.
