Yes, this story left you wanting more and a cliffhanger, but the battle that the story is about was completed. Not sure why so much complaining by other reviewers. But if you are a fan you will love the smart ass in his element and even out of it. I can’t wait for more. I ended up reading the series over again, since Jim Bernheimer doesn’t write as fast as I would like, and my poor memory needed a fresher. I would love to see this series as a movie or a TV series, I can just image Cal as a lizard hybrid. It tickles my bones thinking about it. Narrator does a great job, he is good at portraying Cal’s sarcasm and dry wit.
